Electronic Arts has announced that Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11 will feature The Ryder Cup and will support Sony’s new motion controller.
The title’s set to come out on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and iPhone, with Tiger Woods representing the US team and Rory McIlroy representing Europe.

EA’s chief financial officer, Eric Brown, believes that the lack of price cuts from the major hardware manufacturers means the console life-cycle will be longer than previous ones.

Middle Eastern gaming site ME Gamers says, “We suspect that the ban has been enforced due to a sultry seduction scene in the game.”

Gamestop’s listing for Heavy Rain has an update saying that the DLC due at launch has been delayed by Sony.
An update to the online retailer’s listing reads, “Due to a delay by the publisher, this content will not be available for download until Thursday, March 4, 2010.”

Sony America’s senior vice president of publisher relations, Rob Dyer, has said that PS3 has benefited from publishers choosing not to spend their resources on Wii.
The last few months have seen several publishers reconsider their support of Wii as mature titles fail to make an impact, while Nintendo’s own first-party titles dominate the market.
Dyer believes that those publishers are now reallocating those resources to PS3.

After last week’s report from the US, which warned of PS3 hardware stock shortages, Sony UK has come out saying its PS3 is also in short supply.
Last week Sony’s senior director of corporate communications Patrick Seybold said that PS3 would be in limited supply over the coming months. "We’re working very hard with our retail partners to meet consumer interest, but the demand is tremendously high for the PS3 and we expect tight inventory in the coming months."
