Sega’s consumer business segment, which houses its videogame operations, posted a decline in net sales to 83.1 billion yen (591.4m / $929.1m) during the nine months ended December 31, 2009, although the company expects full-year sales growth of 3.6 per cent.
The division’s operating income came in at 1.4 billion yen (£10m / $15.7m), compared with an operating loss of 5.65 billion yen (£40.3m / $63.2m) during the same period the previous year.
