Peter Molyneux, Lionhead boss and creative director of Microsoft Games Studios Europe, doesn’t believe social gaming will replace the triple-A market.
“Triple-A is here to stay. When TV came along it didn’t replace the movie industry. Social gaming is like TV. It is going to co-exist because, frankly, there’s too much money in it,” he told Develop.

Peter Molyneux shows new trailer for the third title in Lionhead Studios’ action adventure series.
Appearing on stage at Microsoft’s E3 press conference, Molyneux showed a trailer revealing both new footage of the title and the October 26th release date.

Peter Molyneux has set a target for Fable III to sell at least 5 million units before he’ll consider it an artistic success.
Molyneux said that the original Fable sold 3 million units, while the sequel saw sales of 3.5 million units. In order for Fable III to be seen as going in the right direction it must sell more than 5 million units, Monlyneux said, although how he reached that figure isn’t immediately clear.

Peter Molyneux has said that the PC mouse revolutionised home computing but Natal "could end up [with developers] creating something we can’t even imagine now".
The Lionhead boss warned though that day one Natal titles would be "the obvious stuff" rather than groundbreaking new directions in gameplay.

The GDC 2010 organizers have confirmed new lectures will be held by Pixar ‘notables’, Lionhead’s Peter Molyneux, Double Fine’s Tim Schafer, Final Fantasy XIII’s director Motomu Toriyama, and fantasy writer R.A. Salvatore.
The latest list of big name keynotes joins the already confirmed appearance of Civilization creator Sid Meier. There will be almost 350 other lectures, keynotes, and panels.
